VP Product Line, AgCo Corp: Big Data in Ag Panelist
Matt is currently Vice President, Product Line, Global Crop Care. He is leading a global team responsible for the future development, marketing and product support of precision application, soil preparation, planting and seeding technologies and systems.
The product line Matt leads at AGCO is focused on finding ways to enhance grower profitability while reducing farm waste through advanced technologies, services and machine systems. I work through a strong internal product development and integration team, market support team and strategic partners to leverage AGCO Crop Care systems, Fuse Technologies and Fuse Connected Services that can enhance the farmer’s efficiencies and support global demand for food and fiber.
Matt joined AGCO in the year 2000 and has held positions in Sales Support, Sales and Product Management for both the North American and European regions. He has lived and worked in the UK and Switzerland as well as the US and has experience working in South America, Africa, Asia Pacific and multiple countries in Western, Central and Eastern Europe. He is currently based at the AGCO Global HQ in Duluth Georgia USA.
Matt has more than 20 years’ experience in the agricultural equipment business, having started with a family farming background, John Deere and Deutz Engine NA before joining AGCO.
Matt graduated from Vincennes University and before this served 6 years in the U.S. Army as an indirect fire infantry man, leading teams in multiple deployments, including the Persian Gulf.
Matt grew up on a farm in Western Kentucky growing corn, soybeans, hay and tobacco as well as raising livestock. He and his wife Amber and their two girls Mattie and Annabel currently live in Flowery Branch, GA.
